As well as working hard to keep our people safe and operations running through this challenging time, our teams around the world have also been supporting local communities in need through our ‘Benchmark for Better’ initiative.
During 2020 our teams distributed food parcels and disinfection products to help people working in the supply chain and local communities in Brazil and Ecuador. In Punta Canoa, Colombia our team delivered groceries, cleaning supplies and home schooling materials to support the local village close to our Genetics site. In Thailand we made donations to the local foodbank and continued to support the nearby school.

Benchmark for Better (‘B4B’) is the Company’s communities and charity initiative launched in 2020. B4B combines donations and volunteering focused on education, health and sustainability in our local communities. As such, B4B is, aligned to our mission and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
