Aquatropical, Ecuador

Aquaculture specialist with a keen eye for business

Founded by a graduated aquaculture specialist with a keen eye for business, our client Aquatropical distinguishes itself by a remarkable passion for excellence and innovation.

Owner Alex El Ghoul was already experimenting with breeding marine species in his home aquarium as a child, and is still as ambitious and curious today.

Always looking for new ways to improve the efficiency of aquaculture processes, Alex believes in ongoing research and development. Eager to lead the way in innovating and improving production results in Central American shrimp culture, Aquatropical started its own programs for genetical selection of P. vannamei in 1999.

A constant focus on improving pond results has guided us to make the right decisions in the growth of our company
