Benchmark Science and Innovation Fair
In May 2023, the Innovation Board hosted the inaugural Benchmark Science and Innovation Fair, bringing together the brightest minds within Benchmark to explore the future of innovation. The event, attended by over 100 staff members, covered topics like sea lice, disease, aquatic health, and welfare through thematic webinars. Each session included a panel discussion addressing the main issues and opportunities raised.
Post-event, focused workshops were organised to advance key opportunities identified during the fair. These workshops resulted in several funded pilot projects that delved deeper into crucial areas, sparking new cross-business area collaboration which continues to generate new ideas for the future.
