Job Purpose
  • Provides a development and diversification strategy of the business focused on financial gains and growth of the company (in existing and new areas as well as in existing and new aqua industries).
  • Identify opportunistic sales to be transformed into sustainable sales
  • Work in close collaboration with China Area Manager (AM) to build the 5 years plan
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research to identify new markets, new business area and customer needs
  • Create development plans (objectives, strategies, and action plans) to successfully enter new identified business opportunities.
  • Create sales potentials and targets of the new opportunities (areas and industries)
  • Implement action plans until business is anchored, and roll- out and hand over to sales team
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective customer
  • Coordinate with different INVE’s department to compile all necessary tools needed to successfully implement the action plans to sustainably grow sales in the new business opportunities.
  • Promote the company’s products and services to prospective customer
  • Reports to AM and RSD on identified potentials
  • Collaborate with AM on prioritizing action plans to generate new financial gains.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Business intelligence
    • Existing network knowledge in the Chinese aquaculture industry
    • Strategic analysis experience
  • Communication:
    • Excellent Communication skills with 3rd parties from all backgrounds and adaptability to different environments
    • Fluency in local language(s) and English – excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management
    • 3-5 years proven experience in strategy and marketing establishing and implementing action plans such as the “GOST” Setup (Goal, Strategy, Objective, and Target setting)
  • Experience in an international commercial environment
  • Good knowledge of platforms, tools and systems including MS Office
